Hey kwiehl,

Could you provide the link to your reuploaded with the corrected error? The file link that I currently have still has only "have some".

Thanks!

Run time of 13:02

Content warning? This chapter does contain some outdated ethnic slang. Typical of a century ago when this article was written, but insensitive or offensive by modern standards. Especially the use of the term "Darkies" to describe black musicians & dancers. I'm fine with having voiced it because it does have value as illuminating the way language has evolved, but some listeners who don't know how old this is could be shocked.

Thanks!

Both of your sections are PL OK

I'm really sorry for the delay in PLing. My personal life has been chaos these past few weeks.

Absolutely, the section is yours :)

Before I can put your claim officially in the system, I need to create your reader's page. How would you like to be credited in LibriVox's catalog?

No problems Elsie. I have a question about the text - I'm not sure if this is the place to ask it, so let me know if it isn't. One of the lines is "Surely Dr. Johnson, awkward and ungainly, suffered with scrofula, was "mad half his life," and died one of the lowest grubs in Grub Street."
The word "Surely" at the start of this sentence doesn't make sense in the context. Can I assume that it should be said as "Surly"? Please let me know if I find this out in a different way.

I agree with you that it was probably supposed to be "surly". There isn't really a good way of going about finding out whether there is a typo in the original text other than context clues and common sense. But, when in doubt, you can always do as you just did and double check with the BC (Book Coordinator).
