Hey everyone!! Glad to be a part of the volunteer effort. I’m a huge book nerd. Love reading annd listening to them and would eventually love to get into recording audiobooks professionally. Thought this would be a great place to start, get some feedback, and build my portfolio! Lol. Excited to help bring more books to life!

You're right, this is a good place to get some practice. I found that it's quite a difference to want to record a book and to actually do it, haha.
As for the feedback: If you want to get feedback on your recordings, you would best directly mention that in the respective book's thread. Librivox has a policy of not telling readers how good their recording is, apart from things like missing words or wrong file format. It's so as to not discourage volunteers from contributing. So you won't get comments unless you ask for them

Thanks for that info. I’ll be sure to mention that when I submit my post! Yeah, I can imagine there is a huge difference between the desire to record an audiobook and the actual ability!
