Ciaran - 22 is yours.

Don't sweat it. Everyone's always afraid of their first recording. Once the first one's done, the rest are easier, unless you pick something like Nietzsche.

Hi,

I jumped the gun a bit, had already started the recording before I asked for it.

So here it is

Wow, Ciar?n, you're quick. :) Congrats on your first recording.

Yah! You have an accent! I just never get enough of those. I'm a geek.

As for the tech bits, your recording is a bit quiet, and there's some distortion or weird background noise. That's sadly common for the built in mics, I think. But I'd say you can certainly make do with it, and if you're really enjoying yourself and recording more often, you can always upgrade to a better mic later.

Mark they're yours.

Thanks for the quick 22 Ciar?n. I'll amplify it a bit, but sounds good to me.

OK, here's 24.

I see your projected finish date is already expired. I won't sit on 25.

Oh, don't worry so much about the deadline, they are more rough guidelines. It could take longer to find another reader than for you to record 25. It could be shorter. Do what you wish in the end, of course :)

I got your file. And really don't sweat it. I should probably change the target date so that I stop confusing people. Until we get all the chapters claimed I'm not going to bug people for files :)

Thanks!

Seems I've kick started the process!

Once I've finished reading the book I may record another chapter.

Thanks for taking the recording on, and I'll boost the gain a bit next time.

Looking forward to getting another one done.

It seems reasonable to finish the story, since I read the chapters just before. I'll take Chapter 26 too.
