One of Shakespeare’s most popular plays, AYLI is a pastoral comedy of mistaken identity, wit, and love. Daughter of a banished duke and forced to flee the court, Rosalind hides in the Forest of Arden disguised as a man. When her true love Orlando also shows up in the forest, she courts him without revealing her identity. Meanwhile, Phebe mistakenly falls in love with her disguise, Silvius pines for Phebe, Jacques philosophizes, and Touchstone makes fun of it all, and love and happiness triumph (for the most part) as Rosalind orchestrates a happy ending amid the confusion.

1. How to claim a part, and 'how it all works' here
   To find a section to record, simply look at point 5. below at the sections. All the ones without names beside them are “up for grabs.” Click "Post reply" at the top left of the screen and tell us which section you’d like to read (include the section number from the left-most column in the reader list, please). Read points 6. to 8. below for what to do before, during and after your recording.

3. Is there a deadline?
   Target completion date of this project: November 2008 – but try to send your recordings as soon as you can. If you cannot do your section, for whatever reason, just let me know and it’ll go back to the pool. There’s no shame in this; we’re all volunteers and things happen.

I have no problem with cross-gender casting, but try to make it sound as masculine or feminine (whichever is required) as possible.
   
   Please note that several of the characters sing during this play.

Oh, you haven't BC'd before? Sorry, thought you had. I'll pm you everything you need for editing the MW. Piece of cake. Entering listen links is different for these dramatic works if you have more than one file per section -- i.e. more than one act per role. I'll try to find the link to the page that explains it.

No, it's ok -- I've BCed before. I misunderstood your note and thought you wanted me to CREATE the magic window as well as edit it. Didn't look up at the top where it was ALREADY CREATED. Editing it as we "speak."
