Assigned, thank you! It will be lovely to have these both read by the same person.
Thank you. I am hoping to record both sections this weekend. I apologize if this has already been addressed, but it looks like this essay was written by Leslie Stephen, whose name I see at the end of the essay. Should I include the name at the end of the essay in section 14 (as the name appears in the text), or also include it in the intro to each section (with the section title)?
Just at the end of 14. Thanks for checking.
Thank you. I recorded both sections, but unfortunately did not get to finish editing, so I’m planning to submit these next weekend. Very enjoyable read, BTW!

Happy Monday,

Val
Nicely read! I have just four corrections to suggest because the substitutions (or omissions) change meaning:
  • At 9:52, I hear “But not discouraged, keep on, there are divine things well envelop’d.” But the text reads “Be not discouraged, keep on, there are divine things well envelop’d.”
  • At 10:45, there are a few words missing. I hear
“Allons! From your formulas, O bat-eyed and materialistic priests.”

    But the text reads
    “Allons! from all formulas!
From your formulas, O bat-eyed and materialistic priests.”
  • At 12:28 there’s a word missing. I hear “Enjoyers of calm seas and storms of seas,” but the text reads “Enjoyers of calm of seas and storms of seas” It’s not a huge change, but I think the omission impairs the comparison.
  • At 13:19, I hear “namely their own diverse phrases,” but the text reads “namely their own diverse phases
Thanks,
Winnifred
