Success In Fiction is PL OK. Food for thought and nicely read. Thank you, Elsie. And I learned a new word, which you pronounced correctly! :)

puisne

adjective
(obsolete) Later in age, time, etc.; subsequent.
(obsolete) Puny; petty; unskilled.
(Law) Younger or inferior in rank; junior; associate
a chief justice and three puisne justices of the Court of Common Pleas; the puisne barons of the Court of Exchequer.

I found this elsewhere on the site and it was suggested to read it as an essay -

Can the Church Lead? (1942)
An essay on the place of the Church in modern society.
https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=nnc2.ark:/13960/t98702g7n

I'd like to narrate it.
Sounds fascinating, and PD! I look forward to adding it to the collection. P.S. I'm soloing Buck's "The Mother" at the moment. She's an astute writer. Enjoy!

Funny this problem continues.

PL Notes on Can The Church Lead?

A beautifully clear, concise reading. Thank you Ellen. Only one issue: your file name must replace "title" with the actual title "canchurchlead"
(we usually drop a, an, the)

Yes the problem will always continue, but "peace on earth, good will toward men" is an admirable personal goal to strive for. Alas that seems to require declaring war on war -- quite a conundrum.

I have uploaded Mary The Mythical Madonna. KevinS has agreed to PL it, and is planning to record the sequel to this essay as time permits.

Yes, I forgot to include the link I read from in my post above, since added.

PL Notes Mary The Mother of Jesus

At 11:25, begins a background clatter, sounds like raindrops on a tin roof maybe? It continues almost to the end.
HINT: At about 11:45 I grabbed about 3/4 seconds of it, pasted several clips together to get a 4 second noise profile, and did Noise Reduction on a portion. It helped a little. I tried de-clicking. It worked between phrases but not within them. As your volume is at 91.9, you could perhaps de-Amplify -2.5 to 89.4, and reduce that chatter that way. Not sure what else you might do.
18:17 We catch a glimpse at one of the last, you say . . . at once, of the last
35:45 missing phrase (bold) ". . . moving daily among friends that he loved and to whom he knew that his career was to be . . ."
