Begging foregiveness in retrospect rather than permission in prospect (is that a legal principle?), here is Section 7:

This section hasn't been proof-listened yet but here are the technical notes. Could you resolve the technical issues and then re-upload the file before prooflistening?
  • We need 0.75 seconds of silence at the start of each Librivox track (or as close as you can make it). Currently, it's about 4 at the start.

Here is the re-upload with the silence at the beginning corrected to 0.75 seconds.

Here is Section 9: "Part 1: Of the Law of Nations - Of the Rights of Belligerents Part 2”. Again, sorry for not claiming in advance, but if anyone else has jumped in, please feel free to delete, ignore, bin, trash, etc.

(I had to upload this a second time; I closed the uploader before I copied the link, the first time. If this upload did not automatically overwrite the earlier one, then apologies for clobbering up the server with one too many uploads …)

Thanks for the careful listen … I corrected both places. Actually, I believe the second one, at 29:07, also has a typo in the text. The printed text reads, “… have *concluded* us from making it a subject of controversy.” The reference is to a settled point of law, and although it’s possible that the word has an archaic meaning, I think it’s more likely to have been meant to be “… *precluded us from making it a subject of controversy.” I have made that change as well as fixed the stumble; if you think we should revert to “concluded,” let me know and I’ll make a further fix.

Thanks again —

That does look to me like a typo for precluded given the grammar.
