Source text (please read only from this text!): https://archive.org/details/cambridgehisteng01warduoft/In the preliminary statement of the aims and objects of this History, communicated to those who were invited to become contributors to it, the editors emphasised the following purpose of their undertaking: A connected account was to be given of the successive movements of English literature, both main and subsidiary; and this was intended to imply an adequate treatment of secondary writers, instead of their being overshadowed by a few great names. (Summary by Preface)

Intro to recording:
Leave 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning.
Say:
Special Notes:"Section # of The Cambridge History of English Literature, Volume 1.
This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit librivox.org."
[Optional: "Read by your name."]
"The Cambridge History of English Literature, Volume 1: From the Beginnings to the Cycles of Romance
Section Title from MW."
End of recording:
- Please read the full Magic Window title (including the author's name).
- The names are difficult in this project. You might choose to look up pronunciation on Wikipedia or type the name into youtube (eg:) and see how others are pronouncing it. You could also try Forvo. In the end, try your best but be consistent within the section.
- It is highly recommended that you view the sections before claiming so that you don't get a shock when the text is difficult.
- If you find something you don't know how to vocalize (eg: a table), post in the thread for help.
- Footnotes are optional. You can record whichever ones you find interesting.
Say:
If you are recording the final section of the book, add:"End of section #."
[Optional, and if not stated in the intro: "Read by your name, city, date."]
Leave 5 seconds of silence at the end."End of The Cambridge History of English Literature, Volume 1: From the Beginnings to the Cycles of Romance"
