I think this came in out of order, but I'm glad to assign these to you!

Thanks, Inkell, for the sharp eye. :)

And, with that, this project is FULLY SUBSCRIBED!

I'll look for another science book for those waiting in the wings.

DaisyDoolittle wrote: May 23rd, 2024, 11:53 am Thank you. I recorded yesterday but didn't upload the test properly. I re-recorded today and posted my 1 minute test. I look forward to reading here. Ernest Ingersoll and F. Scott Fitzgerald are my 2 most favorite authors of all time.
Good!
Unfortunately, a claim did come in ahead of yours for these last two sections, so they have now been assigned.

But, I'm sure you will be able to find another project of interest. And, I usually have one or more science projects going.

All the best,

Hmm. :hmm: Still couldn't find the URL for 31 posted.
But, I just created the link, and the file is there!

Glad to mark both Sections 31 and 32 PL OK.

Thank you so much for your contributions to this project, Inkell.
Greatly appreciated.

It was in the post where I pointed out about SKwanada's claim-

At any rate, thanks Larry, it was an interesting book. Good luck with the rest of it

Well, thank you for this, but it is best practice NOT to record and upload something until your request has been acknowledged and assigned. This just avoids a lot of confusion and conflicts. I didn't even get you added to the LibriVox catalog. :?

In any case, this will all work out in this case. I've added you to the catalog just as Helen. If you would like your full name, a pseudonym or something else, just let us know and we can change it. This is how you will be credited for all of your LV work. Just click on your name in the Magic Window to view your personal reader page. This is where you can track all of your LV projects of which I hope there will be many.

As to your recording, it is quite good! You have a very natural reading style that is easy to listen to. The volume is a bit on the high sided, but within our acceptable range.

Congratulations on your first LV recording, earning a PL OK.
I hope we will hear a lot more of your voice!

WELCOME TO LIBRIVOX
Hi Larry,

Ok, noted for the future. Thanks for the feedback :)

Here is section 37!

Thank you, Ann! PL OK
Fun chapter. I grew up in the Beaver State, but saw far more beavers in New Hampshire.

Getting happily settled in here. And, at last have a proper dedicated recording space!

Great! Thanks Larry!

We actually had a beaver family in our little town here in California! I never knew there were beavers in California, or at the beach. But there you go!

Have fun recording! I bet you are ready to get some work done!

This is a very good reading.

Only one small correction needed. At the end of the narration, leave a space of about 1 - 1 1/2 seconds and say, "End of Section 48," then another small space before the end of book closing.

Just upload the amended file under the same name, than post the link and new time here again.

Thanks for a great recording, Jeremy!

The edit is perfect, so I'm marking this PL OK.
Nice to have your voice, and I hope we'll hear a lot more of your reading here on LibriVox

I neglected to comment on your file name, which again has the .mp3 extension duplicated.
When you name your files, do not add the file extension because this is added when you "export as .mp3"
Our talented MC will correct this when compiling this project, so you don't need to do anything now, but remember this for you future submissions.

Thanks again!
