Thank for the blooper! I sound exactly like that sometimes.
And, I've had a few close encounters with those lozenges. . . .

PL, but here is an optional correction for you:

At about 9:51 “This consists of” I hear. ”This consits of”
Fixed! with a little editing magic. re-uploaded. No change in duration. Ready for spot PL

Well, thank you for this, but it is best practice NOT to record and upload something until your request has been acknowledged and assigned. This just avoids a lot of confusion and conflicts. I didn't even get you added to the LibriVox catalog. :?

In any case, this will all work out in this case. I've added you to the catalog just as Helen. If you would like your full name, a pseudonym or something else, just let us know and we can change it. This is how you will be credited for all of your LV work. Just click on your name in the Magic Window to view your personal reader page. This is where you can track all of your LV projects of which I hope there will be many.

As to your recording, it is quite good! You have a very natural reading style that is easy to listen to. The volume is a bit on the high sided, but within our acceptable range.

Congratulations on your first LV recording, earning a PL OK.
I hope we will hear a lot more of your voice!

WELCOME TO LIBRIVOX

These are all PLOK except 10 that needs one small correction

At about 2:04 in the phrase,

"New Englanders yet utilize sometimes for making an indelible ink"
I hear “inedible” quite a difference.

Thank you for your interest in this project. I know you are anxious to get started.

We do, however, request that our new readers first complete a one-minute test recording to check out all of your technical specifications and any reading issues.

New to recording? Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!

Here is a direct link to instructions for the one-minute sample recording:
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test

Among the useful information there you will find instructions for completing your test recording. Once you have the "OK" on that, post again here and you are free to record for this project, but let's start with just one section. Let us know how you would like to be credited in the LibriVox catalog - real name, pseudonym or any nickname or handle you wish. This is how you will be credited for all of you LV work.

Thank you. I recorded yesterday but didn't upload the test properly. I re-recorded today and posted my 1 minute test. I look forward to reading here. Ernest Ingersoll and F. Scott Fitzgerald are my 2 most favorite authors of all time.

Thank you!
This is a very good reading.

Only one small correction needed. At the end of the narration, leave a space of about 1 - 1 1/2 seconds and say, "End of Section 48," then another small space before the end of book closing.

Just upload the amended file under the same name, than post the link and new time here again.

Thanks for a great recording, Jeremy!

NOTE TO ALL:

I believe I am caught up on proof listening. I may have missed posting a note or acknowledgement, but the MW should be up to date. Please let me know if you have any questions about your recordings. A huge thank you to all who have contributed, and for your patience in the process! :)

(I think you missed SKwanlada's claim for the last two sections...)
