I looked up Jack Sheppard tonight. One site listed his cause of death as suicide. I guess you can call it suicide since he knew his chosen career could see him end up at Tyburn.

On the other hand, Thames is impossibly Good. Heck, Jack was born to hang. (BTW, where'd you find that Jack offed himself? On Wikipedia, they not only say Jack was hung, they give a full account of the affair.)

Well, her death scene was definitely melodramatic. I am enjoying the story of Thames more than that of Jack thus far.

Looking forward to the next chapter with the low comedy.

Section 17 is PL OK. Well done.
