Thomas Walsh was a poet and translator from Brooklyn. He studied at Columbia, Notre Dame, Georgetown and Marquette and was also editor of the journal Commonweal.

Ms Hill's book, Poems, was published in 1918 and her work is classified as "Americana". Archive dot org has an original copy at: https://archive.org/details/poems00hill/
