Hi - I would like to read the part of Yellow Hose for "The Knave of Hearts" if the role is still available.

Thanks!

Here's the Lady Violetta. I hope I sound flighty, yet conniving, enough. I included a moan at one point where the stage directions say she moans, but I couldn't muster up a convincing shriek (I tried, but rejected them all; it's hard to shriek convincingly without provocation). I hope that's ok. It's right at the upper end of the volume range, but I didn't apply any processing to lower it as I would in another kind of recording.

Hi - I have a quick question about the "Knave of Hearts" and the Yellow Hose role - should the voicing be with a slight English accent, or French accent?

Thanks

I very honestly leave choice of accents and characterizations in ANY part up to the reader. One of the key pleasures of running a play here at Librivox is finding out what the various readers have decided is right. Usually some unexpected things, and always different from how I had originally pictured the play on stage myself. So that the completed play is not my vision of what should be, but a truly new and exciting collaborative creation.

Thanks, Todd

Very good. I will play around with it and hopefully it will work!

Thanks for the quick feedback.

I am so sorry to do this, but could I ask for a one-month extension for Attendant Spirit in Comus (#1)?

Thanks,
Wendy

Hi Wendy
That would be OK! This project a whole will take some time yet. I would still like you to read the role when you can.
