Thank you! I have started recording the first chapter but I am not super happy with the sound, so I will keep playing with it. I think perhaps my microphone is too close (or just too cheap, but I am probably too cheap to do anything about that ).

Ok, I uploaded chapter 1! I think I used the MW and the protocol for uploading in a solo project correctly, let me know if not!

Much as I was kind of hoping it would, the little paperback I am reading from did not give me any "romantic" page turning sounds... so if I noticed any distracting page sounds, I have edited them out. That said, I can be too focused on the rhythm of the words and making sure they match the text in the book to notice background sounds sometimes. So if another sound needs to be edited out or if you think it would be best that I switch to reading from an online source, let me know.
