Your voice is pleasant and animated, and there's just one tiny fix needed to your test.

The volume is at 85.8 dB, just shy of the lower end of the acceptable range (between 86 and 92 dB, with 89 - 90 being the ideal). If you're using Audacity, there's a simple fix. Just select the entire track, and click "Effect > Loudness Normalization" set to "-19LUFS" and "perceived loudness," then click "Apply." That should bring it up to the 89-90 dB range.

Please make this adjustment (if you're using a different program, you'll have to figure out how to increase the volume by a few dB), and post the link to the revised test in a reply to this post. I'll come back and check it out.

I suggest heading over to the "Readers Wanted: Short Works (Poetry & Prose)" forum to find your first recording. There are lots of short options there in all genres. Let the book coordinator of your first reading know if you want a different name than neetpeep in the Librivox catalogue.
