MC and DPL most welcome.

I haven't done a solo that is a collection of works from multiple sources before. I listed the reports I'll be recording in the summary along with each report's author(s) and link. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do :D

Edit: I noticed an error in my summary in the MW. It should be "The potential ramifications of banning TikTok are also discussed." instead of "The potential ramifications of banning TikTok is also discussed." I fixed it in the MW, but I am letting the prospective MC know in case they have to change the summary in the backend. Sorry about that!

I won't be MC'ing this, partly because it's not PD for me.

Regarding the collection: just like any other collection, you'll need to enter the section metadata into the MW when you get one. Instructions here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Soloists:_How_to_update_the_Magic_Window#Special_Instructions_for_Collections_%E2%80%93_Entering_Section_Metadata
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew

No apologies needed! This is great, and I don't have to dig around the internet for info! Yes, we need to paraphrase the bios, just to be on the safe side. I will start entered their information into the author DB, then we can add the bio afterward.

ETA: I'm wondering about birth dates. :hmm:

OK, put all the authors into the system. I just used the first line of each bio, we will see if that will be OK. If not, we can make adjustments to the bios. At least for the time being you can get the meta info to the spot it needs to be!

Ok, sounds good! I added the authors to the metadata part in the MW. Some of the reports have multiple authors.

Since I didn't see an option to add more than one author to a section's metadata, I just put the first author in. I listed all the authors in the summary so at least they are credited somewhere :)

One author should be fine, the other authors are at the text source.

I think we can safely move on to Going Solo!
