I had a heck of a time dealing with that droning high tone! but I think I cleaned it up pretty good! there are a couple breaths, but I didn't find them distracting, I am a bit concerned about the volume level. I tried amplifying in Audacity, but I'm not sure if it got done right. Thanks for any Help/Guidance/Head Nods

Yes, that high tone is nicely cleaned! But why a heck of a time, didn't you use the Noise Reduction effect, or how did you clean it? The volume is fine! In the unprocessed recording the volume is just under the optimum, and in the second it's just over the optimum, but they're both within desired range, so anything in between is perfect! If you still feel unsure, you could use the Checker https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker just to get a dB number. The optimum is 89dB, your first recording is at 87dB according to the Checker, and the processed one is at 91 dB, but acceptable range is anything between 86-92.

You're ready for some real recordings to build your portfolio :D

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, I actually have a YouTube channel where I would cut out as much silence as I could make work, While also throwing in some Additional background noises. And when it came to making this recording, I knew that Background music wouldn’t exactly be appreciated, ha ha ha so I had to figure out how to use The noise, reduction tool. But when I was using it, it wasn’t getting rid of the background noise Effectively, so I had to Change some values to way different values To make it work, ha ha ha!

What I do with the Noise reduction is

Step 1:
Select (highlight with a mouse) a portion of only background noise - no speech. Go to menu Effects -> Noise Reduction, click get "Noise Profile".

Step 2: Select the whole recording (Ctrl+A or click in the left-hand box). Go to menu Effects -> Noise Reduction, click "OK". The settings I use are:
Noise Reduction: 10
Sensitivity: 6
Frequency smoothing bands: 3
Not sure if these settings are optimal, but they work for me :D
