Begin your reading with the abbreviated LibriVox disclaimer:
Leave 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning.
Come When I Sleep by Victor Hugo, read for librivox.org by [your name].
[Add, if you wish, date, and/or your location.]
Then read the poem:
("Oh, quand je dors.")

{XXVII.}
Oh! when I sleep, come near my resting-place,
As Laura came to bless her poet's heart,
And let thy breath in passing touch my face—
At once a space
My lips will part.

And on my brow where too long weighed supreme
A vision—haply spent now—black as night,
Let thy look as a star arise and beam—
At once my dream
Will seem of light.

Then press my lips, where plays a flame of bliss—
A pure and holy love-light—and forsake
The angel for the woman in a kiss—
At once, I wis,
My soul will wake!

WM. W. TOMLINSON.
At the end of your reading, leave a space and then say:
End of poem. This recording is in the public domain.
Leave 5 seconds of silence at the end.

Away from my usual place in a more resonate room. But, soon I'll have a real studio space for recording.

I think Andrea Bocelli does a better job with the music Franz Liszt wrote

Or

Barbara Bonney with Antonio Pappano on piano

https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/comewhenisleep_hugo_ww_128kb.mp3

length-1:10

attribute me as West Wood please!

yeesh, how about that french! you know, when reading the bible aloud I never really had a problem pronouncing names/places with this confidence that one might not think twice that I didn't know how to say it... but I cant help but think my tongue was fat in my mouth with that!! I recorded it quite a few times before settling on this.
