(Summary by )
Source text (please read only from this text!): https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=hvd.hn2n53&seq=9

Target completion date: 2024-09-01

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Your Magic Window is in place. As Soloist, you are your own Book Coordinator (BC). Since this is your first Solo, you will need to follow the instructions for first time BC login. For your convenience, here are the instructions for that excerpted from the guidelines for BCs.
Accessing the System – First Time Login

Use this Link to go the main login screen: http://librivox.org/workflow
Click on Login (for BCs & MCs)
Enter your forum username.
Click “Forgot Password” (Note: Your forum password will not work here!!)
You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Click the link and enter a password and submit the form.
Go back to the main login screen and use the new password you entered above to log in to the system.

Here is a link for more detailed instructions: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Soloists:_How_to_update_the_Magic_Window#Accessing_the_System_%E2%80%93_First_Time_Login

If there is any problem, please let me know.

Best,
Christine

Hi Christine!

Thank you so much!

I have followed your instructions but when I clicked on Login for BCs and Mcs it directed me to the workflow with the same password I had... don't know if that is meant to be like that. I did not have the option to change the password.

También tengo dudas en cuanto al Preface y Prólogo, ambos en inglés. Entiendo que también se leen, verdad? Gracias!

When you click on the BC Admin button under the Magic Window does it take you to the Section Compiler where you can edit the Magic Window? Regarding the preface/intros, yes you would read them as well.
Best,
Christine

EDIT: If you don't want the introduction etc then you can use this version: https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=hvd.hn2n53&seq=9

Let me know if that is what you want.

I will change everything that needs to be changed for the text link. Go ahead and read from that.
You are all set. Don't worry about password(s) unless for some reason, in future, you are not able to get into the system.
I am moving us to Going Solo. Hopefully we'll pick up a DPL there.
Best,
Christine

Looks like you have already uploaded it. If you mean, should you put it in the MW with the length in the notes section and fill out all the Section Titles ( this latter you can do as you go along since it is a solo), then that is a yes. I'm here for you if you have any other questions or this is not clear. I will PL until one shows up to be a DPL.

Meri
Yes. You can copy and paste the link as you have posted it here in the Listen URL field, enter the length in the Notes field and change the last column to Ready for PL. You don't have to wait til you get more sections done.
Best,
Christine
