Source text (please read only from this text!): https://archive.org/details/firstfourvoyages00vespialaAmerigo Vespucci was, arguably, the first person to explore North and South America from Cape Hatteras to Brazil, 35° north latitude to somewhere south of 5° south latitude. He is the explorer from which America derived its name.
Not only does this work contain the letter of Amerigo Vespucci to Pier Soderini, describing his first four voyages, it also includes a biography on Vespucci, a geographical summary of the voyages, and other notes and analyses. (Summary by TriciaG)
