The Boys' Book of Famous Rulers by Lydia Hoyt Farmer
I'd like to give Chapter 3 a try, though I will have to slog through it to get all the pronunciations correct (or nearly so!) What little Latin I have is Ecclesiastical Latin and I don't really know what English-speaking botanists do with Latin. I'll do my best!
