Hee hee!

One more chapter is up. This should do it for the week.

With this, we're halfway done! It feels like longer - probably because it's a continuation of the previous book.

Next chapter's up. About half of it is a rehash of the previous chapter, from the doctor's POV.

It's hard to differentiate "an odd silence" from "an awed silence" in speech! (I don't remember the exact phrase, but it was definitely "odd" vs. "awed". In the text, it's "awed".)

Next chapter's up.
Yes, definitely of the holiness persuasion, with what was said about the righteousness of the Pharisees.

Several mentions of Pansy. Apparently she and her husband boarded in their cottage at Ocean Grove that summer.

Chapters 18 & 19 PL OK

I heard the part you mentioned... actually heard it from the other side.... I heard awed, maybe because it was a perfect in the passage. Then I thought, "OH that's where Tricia mentioned - yep, it's awed" :D

Fun she mentions Pansy. I've also been listening to some of L M Montgomery's books via the library. Twice I heard I heard her name as author. And Cecily exclaimed she'd much rather read Ester Ried than Shakespeare. (me too) lol

"Twice I heard I heard" Ok, I caught that on rereading before posting. It was too good to take out.

Oh and I was going to wonder if there are any people today so consecrating their lives to the Lord. Then the name Joni Tada... then thought "oh wait! She hasn't used her body on her own for around 50 years!" Hmm, how about someone else..... Oh yeah, Justin Peters... oh he's not had use of his lower body for... life? Hmmm

I didn't see your chapter 19 post because I downloaded the file with 18... presumably before you posted... or not.

Yeah, I was wading through that Pharisee thing because our righteousness if from Jesus not works.... but works are a nice addition. And, yeah, there's the reward thing. .....

It was me.

Above, on April 17, you said that 18 and 19 were PL OK, so I thought you just forgot to mark them as such. So I changed them to PL OK.
