Thank you for your careful PLing, Adrian. Here are the corrections:
https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/doncarlos_princesseboli_2.mp3
27:30

The last correction ended up being at 20:48 on my file.
Thank you, Jennlea. PL OK. And thank you for correcting my correction, which reminds me of a poem ending up "... and so on ad infinitum."
Regards,
Adrian

PL Notes
34:55 missing stage direction "Queen to princess eboli"
I cut that stage direction on purpose, the Queen starts her address to Princess Eboli by saying 'Princess' so I thought that made it sufficiently clear who she was now speaking to without the need for the stage direction :?

OK, no problem with me, as it was intentional. PL OK.

Stage Directions for Act 2 are Ready for PL!

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/doncarlos_stagedirections_2.mp3
26.40

Sorry these have taken so long, I am getting a lot of headaches at present and so having to limit my screen time. Also the SD are turning out to be longer than I expected. :(

As it is likely that this act will need to be divided into two sections I have added at the end alternative intros/outros for this case.

If it is possible I would prefer the act to be divided between scenes 9 and 10 where there is a break in the dramatic action. Hopefully this will leave 2 sections both within the 74 minute maximum. If not we will need to think again.

Thank you Alan. Sorry to hear about the headaches.
Please don't overdo your Librivoxing - we can wait for a few days, but we could never find another Alan :0)

PL Notes
3:45 two missing stage directions: "[The KING keeps his eye steadfastly fixed on him." and
"[ALVA, coloring deeply, is about to speak."
6:45 "taking the page by the hand" you don't prefix this with "Carlos".
25:00 "they embrace" - I don't see this in the text

Best Regards,
Adrian

Thanks Adrian

Now all we need to complete Act 2 is someone to read the lines of the PAGE in scenes 4 & 7. This role gender neutral and could be read by someone who appears elsewhere in the play.

I could take on the Page, as the Duchess Olivarez doesn't appear in this act.

Cheers,
Winnifred

Doesn't the page appear in two acts?

The Page in act 2 is a Page to the Queen whereas the Page in act 5 is a Page to the King, so a different character. I am sure they had more than one page between them

I don't think that clashes with Olivarez actually but if you'd like them to be two separate roles fair enough, I'll change my notes
