Here are two corrected file for Pluto:

The one for Orpheus and Eurydice is a totally new recording, for voice consistency sake, so will need a full PL, but it is really short.
My first Shakespearean soliloquy on stage mentioned Orpheus, and I'm sure my director would have frowned had I said Or-foos. But, I'm fine doing this for internal consistency.
Thanks for your patience!

Today, May 26, is my 11 year anniversary with LibriVox. What a journery!
Some stats: 2,300 projects, 335 as BC, 500 as DPL, 1850 as reader.
More to come
Thanks a lot, Larry! Yes I do hope the internal consistency will make for pleasant listening and offset how weird stuff like or-foos sounds.silverquill wrote: ↑April 13th, 2024, 4:47 pm Here are two corrected file for Pluto:

wib66, there is Spot PL for you and alanmapstone I have marked as ready for PL since it is a new recording
Okay, I have lowered stage direction volume a bit for that last stretch so hopefully better now. It is ready for Spot PLLCaulkins wrote: ↑April 13th, 2024, 11:35 am Hi, Inkell!
Very nice job with Daphne - if you want to polish the portion from 5:31 to the end further, the stage directions come across significantly louder than the characters. Or you can call it PL OK already. I'm happy to spot check if you decide to fine-tune that stretch.
Oh! That's so nice! Daphne is definitely PL OK

Fancy some fun character recording? Small parts needed in these dramatic novels: Clouds of Witness | Ivanhoe (DR)

This is now PL OK

Apologies about that, not sure how I didn't catch that. I don't mind going back in and adding room tone if that would make it easier for editing. Regardless I'll make sure to check for that in the future. Thanks for the reminder. ^_^Inkell wrote: ↑April 13th, 2024, 2:16 pmI will say it's fine though it is good to remember to leave 3-5 seconds in the future between the voice credit and line as well to make it easier for the editorWinnifred wrote: ↑April 13th, 2024, 2:13 pmNicely done, Hannah. There's only 2 seconds between your voice credit and your first (well, actually your only) line rather than 3 to 5, but I'm not sure it matters so much at the beginning. Perhaps Inkell could weigh in on that?hannahhaunts wrote: ↑April 12th, 2024, 4:40 pm Hi! Here is Maiden for Narcissus.

Thanks,
Thanks, Alan! MW updated
If you'd really like to go back and correct it then you can and it can be spot PL'd but I can make do, it is only a short file anyway. It is just good to remember for future roles, it can be easy to forget the gap from the voice credit too and the spaces are helpful to the editor since they have to cut and paste all the lines together in the endhannahhaunts wrote: ↑April 14th, 2024, 12:13 pm Apologies about that, not sure how I didn't catch that. I will leave it be so as not to make additional work for someone to spot PL. But this has been a good reminder for me so that I don't overlook that gap in the future. I really appreciate it.Inkell wrote: ↑April 14th, 2024, 4:56 pmIf you'd really like to go back and correct it then you can and it can be spot PL'd but I can make do, it is only a short file anyway. Sounds good Sometimes mistakes make for nice learning experiences like that, glad it was helpful to youhannahhaunts wrote: ↑April 15th, 2024, 12:09 pm I will leave it be so as not to make additional work for someone to spot PL. Hello,
Sadly, I will not be able to complete this project. I acquired a job, and that will take priority. I do have the Theseus stuff, so I'll send that, but otherwise, I have to drop out.
