Target completion date:

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Of course Larry! Happy to have you along.

This represents 2 recording batches. It seems 3 at a pop is a good pace for this book.

Larry
I'm uploading another batch tonight. Just getting over a cold, so my voice may sound a little rough.

Sections 7 and 8 are PL OK
Voice sounds just fine.

Time crunch here as we set up in our new residence.
At last I'll be able to set ups real studio space, but it will be next week at least until that happens.

Larry,

Thanks for the PL!

Final batch uploaded. For the French in the final section, know that I don't speak French. I used AI to generate a computer reading of the text, then worked on it phrase by phrase to sort of imitate the pronunciation that AI gave me. So the recording is choppy, but likely the best that I am likely to be able to do, short of learning French.

Oh, and at about 13.30, I can hear the cats playing. I've cut out a lot of other cat sounds from this recording session, so this bit of background noise is ok for me.
