Hello,
I requested to claim a section of a Scientific American about alternate current condensers. BUT as I was practicing, I came across an image or figure showing the electrical circuit? There is a figure description but it doesn't say something like "Figure 1" to clue the listener into what you're describing.
Here is what I mean: https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/13443/pg13443-images.html#elec1
Do I just go on reading from the paragraph directly to the figure caption like "and increases the pressure....T1 and T2 are..." or should I say "figure description" or something to that effect before describing the figure?
Hope this question makes sense...Thank you in advance!
