Hi, Ben - a note for ch. 18:

The voices you make are superb and really add to the atmosphere of this audiobook! In this chapter, one of them comes across too soft to hear well. I'd recommend amplifying those spots. I jotted the time where each portion comes in.

Ok, I've amplified all those spots by 2 to 4 db, so hopefully that sounds better.

Also the rest of the book is up and ready for PL! And holy cow, that was a heck of an ending...

Yep! That's the ticket - 18 sounds fantastic now.

I've pulled all the others. Wishing I could drop everything and just run through them right now!

Was able to get through most of the remainder -

19, 20, 23-28 are all PL OK

21, 22, and 29 each have distracting background noise. It's really strange, because the Checker numbers and line visuals don't reflect the hiss. On 29, anything from 13:00 on will give you a good baseline - well, the end silence is great for it.

And while you have ch. 22 open, you may want to edit Tim's "For God's sake, Kathy" that is at 1:26 - it's very much in Kathy's voice during their little spat.

So listening to 21,22, and 29, I really didn't notice much of a hiss at all unless I turned it up VERY loud. I went ahead and applied some noise reduction to them but didn't want to do too much so the vocal quality didn't deteriorate. Also listening to that line in ch. 22, the voice doesn't sound like Kathy's to me... I just left it as-is because I was afraid re-recording and pasting it in would be more distracting than how it is now.

I hear you :)

And I've proofed the remaining chapters. I was not expecting that ending. If it's the ending I thought it was. Even if it was the other ending, I still wasn't expecting that.

30 -33 are PL OK

So that's a wrap for you!

Thanks for letting me DPL - thoroughly enjoyed it.
