I have to re-record the file to implement the changes of background noise, but I have been quite caught in some things. I hope this is acceptable. Thank you.

Unfortunately there is still a lot of background noise in this one. I didn't go through the entire thing, but with my headphones on I can hear what sounds like an engine humming around 5:30, voices talking in the background for the first few minutes, and I still hear the carnival music at 12:42.

Hi Tatiana, as a LV listener myself, I often experienced that a little bit of bg noise is preferred than machine-like sound that appears after noise reduction. Unfortunately that day of recording, there was a carnival march at a distance, but I cannot re-record the whole section from scracth. So I have extensively applied the noise reduction process to the parts you mentioned. If it is not suitable, I would request you find another reader for this section.

I think this one will have to be reassigned if you don't want to re-record. I can't hear it when I'm listening on my speakers but the fact that there are voices in another room in the background really clashes with your voice at certain points and is distracting with headphones on.

Fine by me. Cheers.

I hate to do this but can you put my final two sections back on the pile ? I have not had time lately to record and don't see that changing for a while yet. When it does I'll come back and do more on LIbrivox.

Sections 2 and 3 I believe.

Please and thanks.

Section 2, Part 1, Chapter 2, enclosed, in 21:15:

Probably half of the 'jabs' are going right over my head, but nonetheless delightful to read!

Section 3, Part 1, Chapter 3, enclosed in 17:46:

I see sections 23-26 have not been submitted as yet. If they are expired and not extended, I'd be glad to take on them as well.

Thank you,

The section title is "Part 1, Chapter 2" which you said at the beginning of the intro but at the end I only heard "Chapter 2" just for uniformity. No problem with the text itself

Section 18 should also be reopened, I just have no idea how to unassign a section.
