Hi and welcome to Librivox! Just a couple things before I mark this ready for PL.

First, what name would you like to go by in the catalog? This could be your real name, username or anything else you'd like.

Also, it looks like the file is just a bit high on the volume. Can you reduce it by about 3 db and re-upload?

Thanks!

McIlvaines Star is PL ok. I will take care of fixing the filename. Thanks for your contribution!

Hi,

I would like to contribute "The Truth About Goldfish" by Henry Kuttner if that fits with the collection.

Sure. You don't have to reserve them in advance or anything like that. Just record and submit them to this thread according to the guidelines in the first post, and you'll be good to go! Thanks!

Yea, I really liked this story. For whatever reason I never got into Anthony's Xanth novels (maybe I should give them another shot) but I did really like his Incantations of Immortality series.

It appears that the volume is still too high (looks like it only dropped by about .5 db). To de-amplify the track if you're using Audacity, select the whole track, select Amplify from the Effects menu, then put -3 in the DB field and OK. That should do it. :)

Very sorry - I did that the first time but I see that I didn't select the whole track. Fixed it:

Hi! Excellent clear recording! Very enjoyable listening!!
Just a few edits:
Please reduce beginning silence to .5-1 second
In the begining and the end you say the author's name with an "l" in it. Please rerecord that bit (title and author name) then reupload with the same exact filename so that the edited one will replace the unedited.
Best,
Christine
