Soo happy re: end of Dry. Soo sad maybe Barecolt too? No sons but daughters certainly trying at times!

There’s still hope for Barecolt

I have one of each… the son was definitely the worst. I only remember one daughter issue, around the age of 15/16 and a boyfriend issue. She is now in her early 30s and about to give us a 2nd grandson

Our son settled down once he married, became a father and got a mortgage (not necessarily in that order). We are still amazed anyone actually married him…

Lucky you.

I don't think I'll ever have grandkids. No kids til 36 for me. Also they all feel the weight of the world's troubles very, very deeply.

Good handling of that last sentence where they forgot to end the dialogue quotation marks and have a period instead of semicolon.

The Battle of Edge Hill https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Edgehill was very significant in the English Civil War. You wouldn't know it now... we used to go there for picnics and my husband flew radio controlled airplanes from the top. It is very quiet and peaceful and we only ever saw half a dozen or so other people there (once including the actor Edward Woodward, who lived nearby).
