What might be the ideal length of a section? The next one might run for an hour or more.

Hmm. As an audiobook listener, I'd rather have the chapter all in one section if it fits in the "time limit" - which is 74 minutes, I believe.

If it ends up longer than that, you can divide it somewhere near the middle at a place that makes sense for an intermission.
