From a listener:
Hello,

I have a small correction to propose:

Book: Persuasion, by Jane Austen (version 6, dramatic reading) (https://librivox.org/persuasion-dramatic-reading-by-jane-austen/)
Chapter 23
64kb.mp3
zip downloaded

The issue is at the very end of the chapter — 40:36. The last sentence in the chapter, as written, is “I must learn to brook being happier than I deserve.” But the recording simply stops at the word “brook,” omitting the last five words. And it is one of the best lines in the book!

It is an excellent recording, and listening to it has given me a lot of enjoyment. I hope this small but by no means insignificant omission can be fixed.

Thank you very much.
Jo

Confirmed.

This is a dramatic reading. The line was read by reader forum name Fongie, edited by wib66. While he hasn't posted in 4 years, he logged in last week.

I'll PM the editor.
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart
