I wasn't sure whether to put that in there or not but figured it was easier to remove. Consider it done.
Also changed the "A" in three locations: 0:31, 1:04, and 1:14

New Time: 40:51

I'll take on the section on the Salvation Army guy if you'd like, Section 23.

Thanks,

M
Great!
Now PL OK
And, I've given you the "Salvation Army Guy."

Actually, I thought these last two would be among the first to be taken. But, we are now FULL, barring any orphans.

Sorry, but I couldn't remember his name when I was posting this. Don't worry, I won't refer to him that way in the recording.

I only just found this project or I would definitely have made a claim before.

Thank you so much for recording this! What a powerful and convicting account.

Just a few things that need attention.

-- At 19:44 – 20:07 Repeat of the sentence: “Mr. Gale was a graduate of Princeton University, but was a firm believer in the Old School Calvinistic doctrines, which to Finney’s mind seemed very absurd and contradictory.”

-- Between the end of you narration and "End of Chapter 15" there is a seven-second gap. Could you shorten this to something between one and two seconds? Then, after that leave just 5 seconds of silence instead of seven.

Just upload your corrected file under the same name, then post the link here again with the new file length.

Excellent reading!

I'm nearly done with Bunyan, despite some Audacity glitches.
Just to check whether you want the song at the end of the chapter sung as well.

Great!
No, I would prefer it just to be read. I would introduce it as, "Lord, | Come Pleading," by J. Gilchrist Lawson. Then probably read the verses together followed by the chorus, then end of section.

I've been to Bunyan's grave at Bunhill Fields, across from Wesley's chapel and home. Susanna Wesley, Daniel Defoe, William Blake and other notables are also buried there. John Wesley's grave is behind the chapel though.

I'm sure it is worth the wait. :D

Two more sections to go, and we can wrap this up.
I have another ready to go with a different selection of spiritual heroes.

Blessings,
