I would like to claim section 60 if it's still available. And, yes, I'll have 46 done before it expires. I have just been kind of swamped with music and theatre critic stuff lately.

"Interesting" is a nicer word than the ones I had in mind. I wasn't sure which was more annoying: the casual racism or smug classism. Not that this was unusual in Victorian Britain, of course.

The author does have the typical British gentleman opinion on everything, he definitely fits the stereotype of the era. Doesn't make the book less fascinating though. I wanted to be an archeologist when I was young because of reading about ancient Egypt.

Oh, I completely agree. I have worked on several Librivox projects since I started and this one has been the best to date.
