Thanks, Christine. It's been fun working with you, though we're nearing the end. Just the happy endings to wrap up

Chapter 25: https://librivox.org/uploads/brownrottger/sowingseedsindanny_25_mcclung_128kb.mp3 (11:32)
Chapter 26: https://librivox.org/uploads/brownrottger/sowingseedsindanny_26_mcclung_128kb.mp3 (18:14
Conclusion: https://librivox.org/uploads/brownrottger/sowingseedsindanny_27_mcclung_128kb.mp3 (5:08)

The cold weather is setting in today, with worse on the way. The rest of the country refers to Winnipeg (affectionately?) as "Winterpeg". When we moved here, an older contractor said to me "Don't believe people who tell you it gets down to -60C (-76F) here. I've lived my whole life in Winnipeg, and I've never seen colder than -59C!". Later that winter, Winnipeg citizens were boasting because the temperatures here were colder than the observatories were recording that day on the moon and Mars. Bragging about being "the coldest place in the solar system" :). Thirty years ago, I spent a few years in Minnesota, and they had a similar attitude to winter!

Excellent Atul! Sectiosn 25 and 26 are PL ok. Conclusion needs just one small edit. Add "End of Conclusion" just before "End of Sowing Seeds in Danny..." We always complain about the weather in New England, not me, though. Stay warm! And I will PL and catalogue as soon as it is ready. Still in a quandry about McClung's choice of title. Danny and the Sowing of Seeds was not even a catalyst for anthing. Ohh, maybe the moral is that "you don't have to be different than you are to be worthy"
Best,
Christine

Thanks, Christine. Sorry I missed that. I uploaded the revised version and marked it as "ready for spot PL", as only the last few seconds have changed. It is now 5:13 long.

I really enjoyed the story, but I am equally bewildered by the title. Though I wondered about her epiphany in the barn with Arthur, where it was clear that her profound compassion was driven by the way she pictured Danny in Arthur's place:
“Why do you do all this for me, Pearl?” he asked slowly, his voice coming thick and painfully.
She changed the cloth on his head before replying.
“Oh, I keep thinkin’ it might be Teddy or Jimmy or maybe wee Danny,” she replied gently,
I have nieces and nephews who loved Anne of Green Gables, who really should read this book, too. You may know this already, but this book was part of a series known as "The Pearl Watson Trilogy", with volume 2 titled "The Second Chance".

Stay well, and thanks again.
