Well the US copyright I think goes by years after publication and it's other countries that go by years after author death, regardless I think it's awhile before it'll be PD just like the original Bond novels. And no, you don't have to do an English accent, maybe Godfrey's mother is non-English and he got his accent from her or went a non-English school and picked up another accent there or just spent a lot of time with non-English people and picked up their accents, who knows? I didn't think you were, I just figured since I was already talking to you it was a good time to ask but that's fine if you'd prefer a male voice insteadBrianFullen wrote: ↑March 17th, 2024, 7:09 am Excellent on Godfrey. I was hoping for a role in The English Patient but Michael Ondaatje is alive and well, I pray, and so it will be a long wait until we can record that book. I can't do an English accent. Is it OK if I don't try? And I'm not holding Godfrey hostage for Havelock who is really more of a pariah than a leper, I think, so I don't see equivalency. Cheers.

Thank you.
I'll be out for a bit on this last weekend of April, but still checking in as I get the chance. I will try to follow up on Monday, with anything I can't do on the go.
May I please read for Chantry in The Knight's Move?
I've added your name in the Magic Window. Thank you.

I would more than like to hear your Havelock! I would like, like it! Would it really be that big a stretch for you? And may I ask that you not rest your very long legs on my antique oaken table just this once!

Haha if you had replied sooner I could've actually recorded it earlier today! I will try but there's just not a high amount of non-antique tables to rest my very long legs on these daysBrianFullen wrote: ↑March 18th, 2024, 11:09 am I would more than like to hear your Havelock! well if you want Havelock you have to take Havelock as he is. Could you at least remove those muddy, spurred boots?Inkell wrote: ↑March 18th, 2024, 12:51 pmHaha if you had replied sooner I could've actually recorded it earlier today! Thank you Chuck, I've got you in as story #4! I don't think we'll need to shuffle around later, but I've signed myself up as the narrator in case we do.ChuckW wrote: ↑March 18th, 2024, 11:49 am Text: Hills Like White Elephants by Ernest Hemingway (1899 – 1961)
