Chapter 6 is PL OK

(That bust made by the Crimean soldiers for her is really neat.) I enjoyed the explanation of the Kaiserwerth deaconesses in this chapter. It gives a better understanding of the atmosphere around her and the feel of work she was drawn to.

thinking of the upcoming Crimean War, have you listened to The Wonderful Adventures of Mrs. Seacole in Many Lands? Really engaging autobiography that the soloists did a very nice job with. I listened to it a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. I had never heard of her, and yet she must have been a well-known contemporary of Nightingale's.
