Hello! So sorry for the delay - it's been raining like crazy for weeks and it's been messing up the background noise :(
Fortunately we had a clear day when I had recording time the other day!

Here are chapters 16-19

16 (03:11) https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/santafetrail_16_fitzhugh_128kb.mp3
17 (03:22) https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/santafetrail_17_fitzhugh_128kb.mp3
18 (07:06) https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/santafetrail_18_fitzhugh_128kb.mp3
19 (04:28) https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/santafetrail_19_fitzhugh_128kb.mp3

For any PL fixes where I may have to rerecord bits, I won't have my mic with me for the next week, but will be able to make said changes by evening on March 17th.

Thank you all for your patience, these were a fun read!

Thank you. You were within the allotted time! In future, if it’s getting tight, it’s fine to request an extension. It’s up to the BC if they agree and how long you’re given, but most of the time it’s fine.

These are all fine readings. I only made notation to see "PL notes" because you did not mention your name as reader at any point. That is "optional", but I have never before worked with a reader who made that choice. But ... up to you I think.

In section 19 I did hear background noise you mention. It is very feint. Not obtrusive at all. But if you want to clean it up, you could use "Noise Reduction" in Audacity to clear it all.

** I don’t say my name either. I did in my early recordings then decided I didn’t like it

Lynnet - I had intended to mention that in section 16 the "n" word is used. It is part of the text, so cannot be removed. A previous time I encountered it, the admin added a caution in the project description that gave a heads-up to potential listeners that some offensive language might be encountered.
