Thanks for an entertaining 1-minute test. Your voice is clear, animated, and pleasant.

There are, however, a few fixes needed. Librivox requires audio that is in mono, with a sample rate of 44100 Hz, a constant bit rate of 128 kbps, and at a volume between 86 and 92 dB. Your file is in stereo (joint), with a sample rate of 48,000 Hz. The volume is fine.

If you're using Audacity 3.4.2, please see this post for instructions on how to adjust your settings to meet Librivox specifications.

Please make the necessary adjustments, reupload your file, and post the link in a response to this post. I'll come back and check it out.

And you're now ready to start recording! Just one note: I notice some soft plosives (pops) on some of your p sounds. You can avoid those by speaking slightly beside, rather than straight into, your mic.

I suggest heading over to the "Readers Wanted: Short Works (Poetry & Prose)" forum to find your first recording. There are lots of short options there in all genres. Let the book coordinator of your first reading know if you want a different name than WesleyDragonSight in the Librivox catalogue.
