A Mystery of the Campagna, by Anne Crawford (1846 - 1912)
A group of artists are busy pursuing their calling in Rome when one of them decides to seek a remote villa to work alone. But when his friends visit him, why do they find only ‘a shadowy likeness’ of Marcello, and why has he taken to sleepwalking? And who is the strange woman in the grounds who only comes out after dark? (Summary by Newgatenovelist)

Target completion date:

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this link was what was making the generator panic, but this is the closest thing to a wiki page I could find for the author, who is new to the catalogue:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Catselbow/Annie_Crawford

If you need a more reliable source, the Library of Congress also gives her years as 1846-1912:

I'll set this up - seems to be an interesting family, is it genetics or nurture I always wonder. Back soon, Anne

Thank you!

I certainly can't resolve the nature/nurture question, but her brother also wrote various supernatural stories (already recorded) if you feel like comparing!
