Hi Librivoxers,
Wow, what a lovely comunity.
This is my test recording

I recorded it on Logic in a Pirate Studio vocal booth in London.
I can hardly wait to get involved in a real project.
Much Love
Dan
One Minute Test Recording
Welcome Dan
I reviewed your test sample, and while it sounds good there are some technical changes needed. LibriVox requires audio that is 128kbps constant bit rate MP3, 44.1kHz sample rate, mono, and between 86db and 92db, preferably 89-90. Your test audio is 80kbps and volume too low at 83.3db.
I haven't used Logic in at least 10 years, so I'm afraid I can't offer any specific guidance, other than that 89db equates to -23db RMS, although I don't recall if Logic has RMS normalization.
You can pre-check your audio yourself by downloading the free Checker app: https://cgjennings.ca/projects/checker/
Passed with Warnings is a fail with regard to volume.
Please make a new test recording and post it in a reply to this message. I will come back and review it for you.
