Well, thank you very much, Rapunzelina. I'm so glad you liked it. I have some experience as an amateur radio announcer and I tried to do as well as I could.Rapunzelina wrote: ↑February 27th, 2024, 7:47 am Hello Rafael!
Thank you for your offering! Is this your first recording? It's absolutely amazing in sound quality and everything! Well done!
Now I intend to do the whole book as a solo project.

Here's another, Rapunzelina, though I'm probably not going to read the whole work, as it involves at least four different character voices.

Title: The Four Men, a Farrago
Author: Hilaire Belloc

Publication date: 1911

My first recording had the book title slightly wrong, so I edited and re-uploaded. Please could you delete this file from your folder:

Not surprising for a farrago to have lots of different character voices

Thanks, Rapunzelina;
It's a very interesting book, with the author thinking through four different personalities. I wouldn't be able to do it justice.
I suppose it could make a good DR, but you'd need quite sensitive readers.

Hi everybody!
Here's another contribution in catalan for this collection:
https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/fcc012_aucasenyoresteve_rusinol_rfp_128kb.mp3

First chapter of L'auca del senyor Esteve by Santiago Rusiñol.
Text source: https://archive.org/details/LaucaDelSenyorEsteve/mode/2up
Reader's name: Rafael Ferran i Peralta
I see that there is an abandoned project of this audiobook in the Librivox catalog. Maybe after the summer I'll be brave and adopt him myself. It's a great book and I really like it
Thank you!

just one small repeat at 16:29 "the hill some call -- some call Camelot"
This is a beautiful text. I love walking the phrase "out of reach of letters" made me smile, I thought it corresponding to "out of reach of mobile service" today.
