1-Minute Test [OK]
Greetings Candace
I reviewed your test sample, and while it sounds good there are some technical changes needed. LibriVox requires audio that is 128kbps constant bit rate MP3, 44.1kHz sample rate, mono, and between 86db and 92db, preferably 89-90. Your test audio volume is too high at 92.7db. This is -20db RMS in Audition; you want closer to -23db RMS.
You can pre-check your audio yourself by downloading the free Checker app: https://cgjennings.ca/projects/checker/
Passed with Warnings is a fail with regard to volume.
Please make a new test recording and post it in a reply to this message. I will come back and review it for you.

Hello,
I've adjusted the gain on my mic. I think it was turned too high. I hope it's better now.

Oops, now way too low at 74.5db.
Your wave forms should look more like this:
The peaks should be around the -3db marks in the recording track. The best strategy is to record initially slightly low, around 82db in Checker (-28db RMS in Audition). Then adjust up to get the right volume before exporting the MP3. Normalizing to -23db RMS in Audition should nail it. Mic gain controls are notoriously touchy.
Okay, another try please.

Hello,
I hope I got it right this time. I put it into checker and it passed without warnings.

Your audio meets LibriVox requirements, so you are good to go.
