The forum won't let me make replies on topics already made, but I can make new topics - what's up?

So, to ask a silly question, Briana, you can't reply to this topic..? (You're welcome to PM me if that's the case!)

And which area were you trying to post to when you had this happen..?

Have you tried the old standby fix of log out & in again..? Sometimes that works ... If not, which browser are you using..?
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

PS. I'm trying to think ... I think I may have had this message once or twice before when I've paused in the middle of writing a post, to make tea or answer the phone or something. Might that have happened to you..?

I get that message all the time, and I use Firefox. The solution is to just hit the "submit" button again, and it will post fine.

:hmm: I've never run into this problem with either IE v6, or now with IE v7...but then, I've only posted 240+ times!

Well, I had been using my AOL browser before. No, it's not exactly mine, it's my parent's internet. Yes, I still use dial-up. :x Do not like.
