Audacity 3.4.2

I’ve just downloaded this latest version and I am somewhat confused. I appear to have a very slimmed down user interface which is different from the interfaces of the videographer. I have been able to switch the channel tomorrow, but I cannot find a way of setting the sample rate, or the sample format. I go to edit then to preferences and then to quality but I don’t get any options to make the settings. I’m feeling really stupid – can someone help me out with this thank you

Oh, I think I see the particular trouble here: in Preferences, there is a "Quality" page... but that's not the one you want for setting the sample rate. Instead, you'll go to the "Audio Settings" page, and there's a "Quality" section in there.

They really shouldn't have a section and a page with the same name.
