Thank you for checking!
Great job with these two sections. The author has some quite interesting ideas. Both sections are PL OK.

Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence. It's only my eighth chapter reading here on Libri and I'm not even a native speaker. That said, your comment means a darn lot. :9:

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!

Funny, you don't sound Irish. :)

Just a couple of changes to get this to PL OK.

There is a high level of noise. Please run some noise reduction on the file. (You may need to amplify it afterwards.)
At the start, where you say "section 15 of Egypt of the Pharaohs ..." the "Egypt of" is run together and sounds like half of "Egypt" is missing. It is much clearer when you say it at 0:19. Could you please redo the initial piece. Other than that, well done.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

M

Trust me, your English is much better than I would do in another language. I might do okay in Spanish but I don't think it would be as good as your recording.

And you have a great week as well.

Thanks for your kind words, mleigh! I attended a foreign language specialized school and studied English language and literature so I was exposed to English quite a bit considering it's my second language and everything.

Hi, yes. I did realise that there was a lot of noise. I will re-record because I did it in the kitchen, (which in my house is a VERY noisy place in our house! ) I usually do it in my room, which is what I will do. I know I don't sound Irish!!! I dont know why!!!!!

Thank you. It’s very rare we ask for a total re-record. Most files are salvageable. I’ve only come across one in the twelve years I’ve been here.
