If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

I know I have another solo that I haven't started yet, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I was surprised to find nothing by E. Stanley Jones recorded, and he has another book coming into PD soon, so I wanted to get this on the board and try to get it recorded sooner rather than later.

I'm not real happy with the summary so will probably revise it at some point.

I remember reading this book in my formative years and that it influenced my thinking in some important ways. E. Stanley Jones become a sort of long-distance mentor for me, and his devotional books, Victorious Living and Abundant Living were frequent companions. His autobiography, Song of Ascents, is a masterpiece.

OK, your MW is up! I am not worried about how fast you get going on this project, it will get done when you get it done. We will wait here a day or so to see if we can pick up a DPL!

Thank you so much, Ann!

This is an important book for me, so I'm glad to have it on the board.
Realistically it will be a few months before I can start.

His book, Christ at the Round Table, will be PD in 2024, so I want to read it as well.

Still on my to-do list.

I'm just waiting until we get settled in a more permanent place so that there will be more consistency in the recordings. We had hoped for this to happen sooner than this, but too many snags. Well, at least from our perspective, but God's timing is always perfect!

Hi Larry

I'm still looking forward to being your DPL for this project, but just to let you that I will be traveling for the next two months starting May 1. I will have access to the internet to be able to listen and cross check with the text, but may not be able to check on the tech specs.
I will be back home by end of June when PLing will be seamless again.
So incase my absence poses any inconvenience, please feel free to take on another DPL, otherwise I'll be back on board by June end.

Regards

Thanks for the check in!

Starting this may still be a few months off.
Good news is that we should be moving into a new place next month and I'll be able to set up a dedicated studio which is one of the reasons for the delay. I wanted a better sound and something consistent before I undertake my larger solo projects. I do have one ahead of this, so I'll work on it as soon as I'm set up.

So glad to hear that you're still interested in this. It is one of my favorite books. I think some of E. Stanley Jones other works are also in public domain.

All the best on your travels!
