I've been reading a lot of instances of the name "Mont-Fitchet," and I just realised that my earlier reading, found on the pronunciation page, is probably very wrong. The "t" would not be there if it were not to be pronounced. At all events, I have been pronouncing it. In Chapter 35 it occurs at 8:08-8:09, 8:19-8:20, 12:39-12:40, and 14:00-14:01. I can change those pronunciations if you wish.
However, there is a related issue: I also checked the embedded URL for the pronunciation of that name in the text—https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ivanhoe_pronounce_montfitchet.mp3het+french&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS879US879&sxsrf=APwXEdcQ1Zb55DZ0GNGOF9GRDjEIT45iQQ%3A1685149366095&ei=tlZxZL-zBfbg0PEPoa-IoAo&ved=0ahUKEwi_5u_KppT_AhV2MDQIHaEXAqQQ4dUDCBA&uact=5&oq=pronounce+Mont-Fitchet+french&gs_lcp=Cgxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAQAzIFCCEQoAE6CAgAEKIEELADOgUIIRCrAkoECEEYAVDHBliNDmC0D2gAcAB4AIAB0QGIAfcGkgEFMy40LjGYAQCgAQHAAQHIAQM&sclient=gws-wiz-serp#ip=1— and discovered that it leads nowhere. The actual URL on the pronunciation page is https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ivanhoe_pronounce_montfitchet.mp3. So before repairing the broken link, you might replace the pronunciation on the pronunciation page with one of the pronunciations in Chapter 35, above.

Hey, Tom, I was thinking, yes, I'll just change the pronunciation clip to match the ones you mention from ch. 35 . . . but, in opening the 35 track that you'd submitted, the times don't match up. As I was fishing around to find instances, I noticed that there are some places that sound like it's a raw file without edits on restarts, etc. Do you perhaps have a finished file on hand that you pulled the times from that you noted here? If so, do you want to update your ch. 35 submission? I could edit those points when I detail the chapter down the line, but that takes away your agency in deciding exactly which pieces you want to be kept or snipped out.chymocles wrote: ↑December 28th, 2023, 1:42 pm I've been reading a lot of instances of the name "Mont-Fitchet," and I just realised that my earlier reading, found on the pronunciation page, is probably very wrong. I have listened to 35 again, and I think that you will find satisfactory pronunciations of "Mont-fitchet" at 8:08, 8:20, 12:39, and 14:01. I also found a couple of faults, which I corrected.I noticed that there are some places that sound like it's a raw file without edits on restarts, etc. Do you perhaps have a finished file on hand that you pulled the times from that you noted here? If so, do you want to update your ch. 35 submission?

I fixed the Mont-Fitchet link, thanks.
And that gives us exactly 100 files completed and PL OK! (not quite 1/5 of the entire project )
