I haven't been through the whole text, but there is a tiny bit of both French and German. I don't think this will be a problem for anyone, but feel free to ask me should you have any questions.

One of the central characters is a Major Marchand. I assume his surname is pronounced something like 'mar-SHAN,' with 'chand' rhyming close to 'wan.'

I'd also add that, as a French last name, it should sound like "marSHAN"

I'll claim Chapter 2 now.

I'm going to try to record a chapter each day, but I encourage anyone who wants to join in to just speak up.

Will that be okay, chulsky?

Kevin,
Let's try again: SHAN. :D
French CH sounds like American SH.
I'm going to try to record a chapter each day,
I can't promise to PL a chapter every day, but some days I could do several, they look pretty short. :D
