Does LibriVox have any sibling projects with similar goals or structures? Failing that, do people know of somewhat similar projects? For example, collective audiobook production based on slightly different copyright terms than public domain, or focused on languages other than english?

The obvious one that complements librivox is Legamus. That's for texts that are public domain in Europe. Some librivoxers record for both sites.

There's another site which I forget where authors can record their own work - I'll try to remember its name...

ETA: The one I was thinking of was called podiobooks. It now seems to be part of Scribl.
